Championing Climate Justice
CIDE’s environmental justice pillar centers on mitigating the negative impacts of environmental exploitation on local communities through climate action. Through this pillar, we strive to ensure that all people have access to clean air, water and land, safe living conditions and a voice in the management of their natural resources.
Inclusivity in our Programs
CIDE works to promote efforts to change gender and social norms to address inequalities in power and privilege between genders, in order to free all people from harmful and destructive norms. Ensuring Good Governance
Good governance is a critical factor in strengthening any system. Without good governance, the impacts of any initiative will be slowed down, not realized, or won’t be sustainable in the long term. Good governance is essential to ensure that resources are used efficiently and effectively, and that the benefits of any initiative are shared equitably.
